WELCOME TO JAKARTA

How much some of you who always have a dream to stay in down town? 

The place that has a modern life, up to date style, and full of glamorous. Welcome to Jakarta then!!! the capital city of Indonesia where you can find the center of the government’s activities here, a huge mall everywhere, any kind of transportation here including busway LOL, and also the skyscrapers everywhere.

It’s no wonder if you visit to Jakarta, you could find many kinds community level in here, starting from the low class community until the high class community, not only that we also have many kind of ethnic, language, and skin colors. Why? Some of people in Indonesia do the urbanization here bro..... We believe that Jakarta is a good place for you to get a better future, which meant, they saw there is a great opportunity in this capital city.

Traffic Jam 

Furthermore, traffic jam is a common problem in Jakarta, you should take 2 hours from your place to another place (e.g south Jakarta to west Jakarta by car) even sometimes you need take 3 hours for your trip in working hours, so I usually tend to use motorcycle to go everywhere in Jakarta. This is the map of Jakarta. But don'worry, in the night you can find a beautiful flashlight in Jakarta.

The majority of people in here are Muslim, it's easy for to find a lot of types of the Mosque here from the biggest one until the simply one. Nonetheless ,the characteristic of us are friendly. If you are a tourist, you will get a warm smile from us, like whenever you go for shopping, or maybe when you got lost and need someone to tell you about the right way to go back to your destination, don’t be hesitate to ask us, we will try our best to direct you with the right way J

The iconic of Jakarta is “Monas” or is National Monument (in Indonesia called, Monumen Nasional). It is one of the museum in here, the building is very unique with 137 m of its height and top of this building is topped by a flame covered with gold foil.

Speaking about Monas, let me try to describe a little bit about this monument design. The towering monument encapsulates the philosophy of Lingga and Yoni. Which Lingga resembles an alu rice pestle and Yoni resembles a lesung rice mortar, these two important traditional tools. For your information, Lingga and Yoni also symbolize harmony, balance, fertility and eternal life with the Lingga phallic symbol representing masculinity, positive elements, and daytime and the Yoni the female organs symbol, representing femininity, negative elements, and night. That’s some information about Monas that an iconic of Indonesia, so some people say that if you come to Jakarta and didn’t visit to Monas, it’s meant you are not really officially come to Jakarta LOL.

So, what else about Jakarta? 

I can tell that, if you have a business purpose or you are the one who likes to find the opportunity in business, Jakarta is the right choice for you to come to Indonesia. Almost all of the multi – national until International companies are in Jakarta. The competition of business in Jakarta is very tough, you should be a very creative person. However, you can try any business in here, especially for food business for the example you can find miscellaneous foods in here, from the Indonesian traditional food, all of the Asian food, until International food, such as Mexican food, French food, American style food, India food, Chinese food, Japanese food and so on.

Anyway, maybe some of you is questioning, does Jakarta has their original food? LOL, yup, we have our traditional food, it is called “Kerak Telor” I don’t know the English name of that anyway. The ingredient of it are, duck or chicken egg, glutinous rice, dry and wet coconut grater (in Indonesia called “serundeng”), shrimp powder, fried onion, and also pepper and salt obviously J. I love this food actually, but if you are not used to consume it maybe the taste will be a bit weird for you

Some people say that, Jakarta is a never sleep city,  that’s true, even 24 hours are not enough for Jakarta. Being a busy person is a common thing in here but we are still better than Japanes people, therefore tourism business is a great business too in here LOL. Because you when the night come, we provide you with a night life too such as bar, street food, cafe, and so on.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t mean that Jakarta is just look like a boring city. We have some places that you can explore to do some fun things, for instance, we have a beach that is called Ancol, you can find eco park in Ancol, you can rent a bicycle and cycling around the eco park, enjoy the air in there. And also you can visit the theme park if you would like to try the adrenaline games that is called Dufan, and another thing in Ancol area that you can find is Seaworld, you can get many kind of sea things in there with their big aquarium. You can also find some museum in Jakarta, such as Batavia museum, miniature of Indonesia park, Planetarium in here where you can get the knowledge about planet, also you can go to the zoo that is called Ragunan, and so on, I will discuss about the interesting places in Jakarta for my next article okay 👀
